A non-religious alternative to baptism or christening, this ceremony provides the opportunity to celebrate the joy of welcoming a new baby to a family.
A naming ceremony is an opportunity to confirm parents' love and commitment to their child and declare hopes and dreams for their future.
This ceremony can be performed in the location of your choosing or a family home and among family and friends.
These ceremonies are usually performed when a couple wishes to celebrate their wedding anniversary, & want their family & friends to share this celebration with them.
Some couples choose to select this ceremony after the birth of a child.
On 9 December 2017, amendments to the Marriage Act 1961 commenced and redefined marriage as the “union of 2 people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life”. Prior to these changes Michele was already conducting gay commitment ceremonies, demonstrating her support for the gay community.
The variation of this Act means the right to marry under Australian law is no longer determined by sex or gender. Consequently same-sex couples now have the same rights under the Marriage Act as all other couples.
As a very experienced celebrant and educator, Michele offers refresher courses & a mentoring service to students & newly appointed celebrants.

Many people are not aware that families & individuals are not obliged to use a celebrant appointed by the funeral director.
You can choose your own and simply inform your funeral director of your choice.
If you require Michele's services for the life celebration of your loved one, or to assist you to prepare your own funeral ceremony and eulogy, please call directly on 0414 353 646.
